Our ward had a "Wii" Elder's Quorum activity this weekend and Jeff and I showed up in true style. Jeff thought it would be great if we showed up in T-shirts that said "Wii Rock!". So at 11:30 p.m. that night I tried to figure out how to accomplish this goal. A few days later a girl in our ward gave me the idea to use iron on transfers and with that I took the idea and ran. I made two t-shirts complete with the Wii symbol, the sports pack pictures and even our Wii characters. Needless to say, we drew quite a bit of attention to ourselves. Jeff went to pick up pizza for the children wearing his shirt and some girl saw him and immediately called her sister saying that she had just seen this guy in Barro's that had to be in her ward. He was wearing this weird t-shirt. The sister, the one in our ward, Melanie, asked what this guy looked like and Jeff was discribed as tall, dark hair, driving a Dodge Magnum. Melanie immediately knew who it was and said, "It must be Jeff Gray." Sure enough we met them at dinner and Melanie jumped up and told us the story saying she knew all along that it had to be Jeff.
The night was fun. Jeff had been talking "smack" all week and we almost won the "Wii" trophy playing doubles tennis, but unfortunately the award went to the relief society for "Outstanding Performance in Boxing." Pretty funny watching a bunch of women dancing around throwing punches in the air.
Thanks to Russ Webb for the tips on serves and returns in tennis. Now we can beat anyone! Bring it on! Here are a few pictures of our fun event and of course the shirts. By the way, the girls have each asked for a shirt for themselves. Watch out here come the "Wii" Grays!

I saw your shirts before you left the other night, and wondered what the story was behind that or where you would be wearing those matching to. Very funny! Looks like you had a lot of fun. I'm sure Aaron would love to hear about the Wii tips you learned that night too.
COOL Shirts!! Was everyone just totally awestruck?!?! They turned out really great!! Good job! Way to go!! Looks like you guys had a really fun night. Maybe we will have to suggest that we do that in our ward. You are totally bringing that shirt with you to England right? LOL!! I want to see the girls shirts too when you get them done. Love you!!

we are having a "wii" family home evening with all the young single adults in our stake next month! It's going to be great! Sounds like you had a blast - sorry you didn't win, well not really :) he he. -Matt
