Play Ball!

Okay, There is no picture for this entry and after you read it you will no why and be amazed that we are still alive. Yesterday we decided to spend the day at the park. It was a warm day if you stayed in the sun, so we packed a lunch and a few outside toys in the car and away we went. One of the toys we took with us a was baseball "t" and the balls and bat. This particular toy can be used two ways. First is can be used for "t" - ball and secondly you can load the balls into the sleeve and it will pitch to you. So, now the exciting part, we were driving down the road, Kate, Cole, Megan, Haley, Nathan and myself, in the suburban with the toys in the far back when all of the sudden we hear the baseball game preparing to pitch. Suddenly we had balls flying all over the car, 5 to be exact, while we were all ducking avoiding being hit in the head with a hard plastic ball. The first ball pitched sent everyone into hysterical laughter while balls 2,3,4, and 5 had us diving for cover and crying. Good thing we were still in the neighborhood because I was driving all over the road. However, we are all safe with no injuries to report, but a word of advice, take the batteries out of any toy that could possibly launch something at your head while confined to a small space before you leave the driveway! Enjoy your laugh! ~ Kim

we have this vivid image of plastic balls flying through the air, with kids crying and laughing and trying to weave in and out of traffic. Too funny. I wish we had a video camera in the car so we could win a million dollars! Glad to hear everyone survived!
