A Weekend with the Gray's! All of them!

What a fun filled never before had weekend we had. We left Thursday night and drove all the way to Grandma Dunyon's house where we got hairs cut and played with Emma and Heidi for a few hours before driving north to spend the weekend with Uncle Eric and Brooke, or as my children call her "Brooke without Emma." Grandma and Grandpa Gray were already there waiting for us and the fun began. Eric and Brooke have a great playhouse in their backyard perfect for my pretending bunch. It completely entertained them for the evening, not to mention the multiple riding toys available for races and rides! The next day was the baptism where, if the Pastor wasn't entertaining enough, Hudson provided plenty of comic relief! After attempting a family picture, which turned out pretty good for a first try, we went back to the house for yummy food and an even yummier cake. Nathan loved playing with Hudson, they chased each other all over the place and took turns pushing each other around in the fire truck. They were truly two peas in a pod. Megan and Haley loved watching Gavin and even more so loved the fact that they had a captive Grandma to read them all the stories they desired. Brooke and Eric were the perfect hosts putting up with four extra children and they even let us bring Sarah and Austin over for the evening. You know, you can't get too much family ever! Finally the next morning, Brooke's mom, Kirby and her husband Denny, invited us all over for breakfast before our long drive home. They have a beautiful home and yard that made us long even more so to move back to California. The food and company were wonderful. We had a fantastic weekend and it left us wishing we all lived closer to more of our family so we could enjoy more weekends and events together. Eric may disagree, and may be enjoying his quiet even more so now that we are gone, but we had a blast! Thanks to everyone who was there and made it a ton of fun, especially Carly and her friend who fell prey to Nathan's charms and allowed him to flirt with the older girls. His famous line this weekend is as follows: "Nathan, how old are you?" Looking through his eyelashes, "6" "Are you sure?" "Yes" followed by a very coy smile! Look out girls, here he comes!

Sounds like a lot of fun! We're glad you all had a good trip, and even more glad that our house could be one of the stops! We loved our Gray time!! I've decided we live too far away. One of us needs to do something about that... Hmm... We'll have to see what we can work out, but for now I think we're stuck here. Disneyland is keeping us here. :) Love you!
