Okay - We have lived here for almost 4 years now and I still have no idea of fun things to do with my children. I am looking for day trips as well as short weekend trips. Everytime I want to do something with them I take them home to California - we desperately need to learn what there is to do here. Help please!

Ok I have a book that has some great day trips along with weekend trips call me and you can borrow it. It is pretty cool.

I was gonna say the same thing Bekki did. There's a Train park over in Scottsdale area that everyone raves about. There's also a train you can ride in Sedona as well as the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams. Don't know why I can only think of train things...
There's an old western-y town thing by Superstition Mountain that's kind of fun. Okay, I'm drawing blanks now...when I think of stuff I'll let you know.
