This year we opted out of doing the "friend" thing and chose to have a "family only" celebration for Memorial Day. Most of the day was spent in the pool and then we had a family movie night with popcorn and M&M's (Jeff can't eat popcorn without them!). It was a wonderful day to remember those that died to make the life I enjoy possible and a day to remember how much I love my little family! I hope you all had a fun and safe Memorial Day - Next year we will have to have more family around - more to remember how much I love them!

I love memorial day in the pool. A whole day dedicated to the family. We made the children watch some of the pbs memorial day celebration the night before. They loved it! Almost as much as swimming with dad. Glad you had a great day.
Sounds like a ton of fun! We swam, rode ATVs with friends, and had a BBQ. I wish we could do that every day! I don't think the girls really understood what we were celebrating, but maybe next year they'll get it..or at least Emma might. Heidi is still in her own world. Love you!

I have the same slip n slide. Isn't it just the best $7.00 thing on earth? Really!
