Yesterday was the last day of school around here! I know what you are thinking - kinda early huh? Well, not really when you start in AUGUST! Nonetheless, we finished off the year with a preschool graduation performance put on by Megan and Haley's preschool class. Notice I did not say performed by Megan and Haley. Yes, true to form, they refused to sit up with their classmates and recite their poem. They were supposed to say the "Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe". 
Their classmates did a great job though and Megan and Haley did help with the props! 
Hopefully next year in Kindergarten they will show the world what great performers they really are - the ones we get to see behind closed doors!

I am so proud of how much she has grown this year and I know we owe a lot to her teacher Ms. Orona! She excelled in every subject and this summer we are supposed to review her times tables up to 12! I am not sure I even remember those!
We finished off the day with our new tradition (according to Paige) by going to Red Robin for dinner with Wendy and the clan and then to Krispy Kreme's for dessert. 
This time "Red" was there to join us. While Nathan and Paige thought that this was stellar, Megan and Haley would have been happier to eat in peace. 
Oh well, we had fun anyway, and we always love celebrating anything with Wendy and family! Here's to our summer and 104 days of it!

You got to see RED!! You guys are so lucky duckster!! I LOVE RED ROBIN!! AND KRISPY KREAM!! You guys have the best time...I need to live there...I'll work on Austin...get ready for us 2010!
Red Robin and Krispy Kreme sounds like a great tradition to me! Your girls looked cute even if they wouldn't perform! Kian's gonna miss seeing them. He'll have to find some other girls to torment next year. :)
That is funny that they won't perform because like you said, they are totally into that stuff at home. Looks like a GREAT day! I want to be in your family so we can partake of all of the fun too!! Hope you have a wonderful summer!
What fun! I am jealous. I love Red Robin and Krispy Kreme. They are right next door to each other here in Meridian, ID. Lucky aren't we? We still have school until June 3rd!
No way, that's OUR tradition too! Red Robin has all you can eat fries, so it's cheap for us when you know Nicky, Tommy and Elly will only eat fries! And we just finished up our "buy one box get one free" at Krispy Kreme (so we can start our diet, sharight!)...if it aint a cheap meal, we aint goin!!! Send Paige over if she gets bored, I'll tell Maddy to call her ;)
