Jeff asked me what I wanted for my birthday this year - as it was a BIG one - and I decided to spend it at the happiest place on earth with the people I love the most! Yep, you guessed it, Disneyland! I spent the whole day with Jeff and the children at the park, the kids even let me choose the first ride (cuz it was my birthday and all), we all wore happy birthday pins and went on every ride. You know, the park is practically deserted at the beginning of October. I loved the day! That night, Jeff had reserved a room at the California Grand Hotel for an adult only birthday party (for two), and we got selected to receive a "Magical Moment" upgrade. Our room turned into a suite overlooking the giant bear mountain in California Adventure. It was a perfect night, perfect day, perfect view, perfect everything! The next day, Jeff and I went to the park alone to do the "big kid" rides and spent the day eating all the crap we don't let our kids have! I loved it!this is the ![]()

right after the Angels won the Western AL Division Pennant! Look how happy we are to be "HOME"!
Actually it was a birthday week. Jeff took me home for the whole week where we spent time shopping, at the beach, at the park, watching the Angels win the AL western division title!, watching conference with Sarah and Austin and my mom and dad. We went to the lake and took the kids out on little motorboats - which they loved. The weather was perfect the whole time we were there. I think this will have to go down as the best birthday EVER! All thanks due to my wonderful husband, adoring children, loving parents, and patient sister and brother-in-law, all whom I love dearly!
