In true Gray fashion, we had a very busy weekend and took very few pictures. This weekend included (all within 36 hours) a program practice for primary, Benjamin Franklin School Fall Festival, Jeff's Elder's Quorum Party, and the Primary program on Sunday morning. Yes, I had my fingers in ALL these activities and thank goodness for great doctors I was able to perform at a medium to high functioning level for all of them!
To start out, Saturday morning, the children and I had our program practice which went straight into decorating for Jeff's Halloween party for a few hours, then straight to the fall festival at the school. There was a cake walk, we didn't win this year, greased pig catching - which Nathan soooooo wanted to participate in but he would have been squished like the poor little piggy! I feel so sorry for the dirty little thing, it was funny though to watch it escape the pen and see EVERYONE chasing after it! I so wish I had the camera! Paige and Nathan got their face painted and we stayed long enough to see Mr. Lee - our beloved principal - get dunked in the dunk tank.
Then it was off home to quickly change into our costumes and head off to the costume party. We did get a bunch of pictures here. It was a great party. Jeff and his clan karaoke'd as did the bishop -- there are blackmail videos of all those who actually sang -- there were some great costumes and fantastic food and a ton of fun. For all of you who are reading this and didn't make it, you missed out on a terrific party! I think Jeff and his posse did a great job!

Then, finally Sunday morning the children had their primary program and I think they did a fantastic job. They all sang beautifully and EACH OF MY CHILDREN SAID THEIR PARTS!!!!!!!!!! I was so proud of my girls getting up there and speaking clearly and loud and even Nathan memorized his short little sentence and recited it like a pro! I love the primary program and the opportunity it gives the children to express their little testimonies through song and speech. They bring such a strong spirit to the meeting when they sing. I don't know how anyone can't say the church is true after listening to them all. It was just so great!
Well that was the weekend, all wrapped up in one silly post. It is over and done with and we move on to a week full of catch up and more Halloween parties and preparation. Until Saturday! BOO!
