Honorable Mention

A few months ago, Paige came home towards the end of the school year with a small cabbage plant and a piece of paper telling us to plant it, watch it grow and when it's ready take a picture of it and send the picture into your teacher.  The picture of the best cabbage would be chosen as a winner and the student that grew it would win a $1000 scholarship fund.  Pretty cool.  So we planted it, grew it and took a picture.  I think she has a pretty good chance, what do you think?

On a side note, I cooked the cabbage that night. It was super sweet and very tasty and ALL my children tried it and ALL my children asked for seconds! Of course I did have it smothered in butter with salt and pepper! :)
