First it was off to Disneyland - of course! This time we went solo for half a day just me and the kids (mom came and met me after lunch) and minus a stroller! I am so proud of my kiddos walking all day long!
this trip I talked them into riding the canoes! Even though Haley's face doesn't show it - she did have fun!
Then it was off to the beach. Well, we went a few times actually.
and Nathan learned to sand surf! Bet you didn't know that was even a sport did you?!
We visited the Mormon Batalion down in San Diego. The kids loved the talking pictures. It is a definite must see and do!
Panning for gold and precious stones.
old fashion water fountain
We also took the kids to the highest point in Oceanside -
way windy and way cold!
of course back to Disneyland to see the new water/light show at California Adventure - way cool must see!
Finally, it was time to either come home or go to Vegas - so naturally VEGAS BABY!!!!
water parks, swimming, free movies, more water parks, more swimming...
puppet shows
and lots of cousins.
We were home for a few days just to get ready to go to Grandma Gray's for the 4th of July.
"aint' no thing like a chicken wing!"
games with grandma!
fun fourth straws!
illegal sparklers and lots of glow sticks!

Northern AZ? What??? Don't leave cause I am coming!! You guys sure know how to PARTY! I love it! I can't wait to come and see you all in 8 days!
It was SO SO fun to see you in Vegas. Grace misses her mealtime buddy. I still laugh when I think of you walking away and Grace holding her empty spoon like, "Where do you think you're going???!"
What a fun month for you! Disneyland with no stroller will make it a whole new place for you - I loved it when we hit that age! Hope the rest of your summer is as fun as the first part!
What a fun time! I can't imagine leving my home for 3 weeks...sounds dreamy. I hope you can handle the AZ summer.
Now THAT is a vacation! Disneyland, beaches, movies, sparklers!!!! mmmm, mmmm, mmmm! Glad we got to actually see you for a second while you attempted to survive AZ. :) Really, Kian had a fun time with Nathan. The next afternoon of waiting in the heat for Ezra to finish dive practice seemed all the worse to Kian...swimming with friends is much more fun! Have a nice trip up north and we'll miss you when you make your second escape.
Glad to see I'm not alone wondering why we live in AZ in the summers!!!
PS: the word verification is culmal, in french, it means butt hurt, thought you'd like to know
