Unmeasurable
Despite the craziness of setting up camp, occasional storms, dinnertime rituals, and packing up camp, Lake Powell with family is priceless. I love going. I love the drama of trying to get my beast of a motorhome into places where motorhomes should never go. I love that mom and dad make it work everytime. I love watching my nieces and nephews play for endless hours on the beach and in the water. I love sitting with my sisters eating all the junk we make and swear we will never eat. I love sitting on the boat going "zoomy, zoomy". I love watching my children on the tubes, yellow boards, and banana with faces of pure enjoyment. I love that Jeff hates the hassel but takes me every year. I love this little family tradition. I love my family.
This is my mom and dad waterskiing - and yes they have 27 (soon to be 28) grandchildren. How many kids can say their grandma and grandpa can do this?!

I love that you guys go through all of that hassle for a family summer get together. Brett's fam has been camping over the 4th in the same spot for 50 years!!!! Same thing...hauling everything up there, but totally worth it. Your mom and dad are awesome!
Looks like so much fun. Now that Wendy is moving I feel you need me as your sister her in the valley so does this mean I get to go to Lake Powell?
Ditto to EVERYTHING, especially the eating and mom and dad part. We do have the coolest mom and dad ever! Thanks for letting us "bum" off you, you are the best, and I love how Luke loves your kids so much. Can't wait to see you in 2 days!!

Your parents are AWESOME!!!!! Holy Cow!!!! I LOVE that they are out there water skiing...and look dang good too! What a fun trip!
