I love having the ward's Trunk-or-Treat every year. It gives me a chance to give our costumes a trial run. It also lets me know how much time I'm going to need to get them ready on Halloween night. This year, we ended up with a:
Professional Basketball Player...tattoos and all.
A Cow Girl. Thanks to some great friends Meggy really ended up with the cutest costume of throw together items ever.
A Witch. A hand-me-down from last year, but still just as adorable.
And the Witch's black cat. Paige's idea. It took some convincing to make her wash her face. Somehow I think the make-up years are coming faster than I thought!
For the actual evening, we invited another family over (with the same number of people as our missing Parker family - whom we missed dearly!). We had our Monster Enchilada Casserole, Green Slime and Chocolate Ghosts.
Here's the Motley Crew! Aren't they cute?
Here are a few pictures of our Trunk-or-Treat:
This is our "trunk". We have it at the park, no cars. It's a huge carnival that we put on for the neighborhood. The kids have a blast. Here are two "Kitty Cats". Marie is so fun, we love their family!
This is Jeff's masterpiece for the year. He is so proud of his "Ferb". Next year we'll have to try Phineas too.

Happy Halloween! They look so cute! I love all the costumes, especially the tattoo's! Nice pumpkin too Jeff...austin is jealous :)
Very cute! I am glad to see you guys go all out for Halloween. So fun.
We are so sad that we missed the celebration this year....where are the pics of the food? Great job on the costumes! I love the tatoos on Nathan - it makes him more authentic! Maybe we'll try Perry and Candace next year and with you doing Phineas we'll have a complete family!
My all time favorite this year was Nate with his tats! That kid pulled it off perfectly!
I'm gathering costume ideas for Eden next year, since she refuses to be anything slightly sparkly, and I'm thinking Paige's kitty cat is perfect!
Thanks for the yummy dinner!
I'm surprised you didn't have any princesses this year. All of the kids looked so cute. Nate's tatoos added the perfect touch. Heidi (our horse lover) loved Megan's costume. Haley was a beautiful witch. Paige was in full character with her hands up in position. So cute! I have to admit I've never watched an episode of Phineas and Ferb, but I could tell exactly who that was as soon as I saw the pumpkin so way to go Jeff! Love you Kim! You are amazing. I know you had a lot of behind the scenes work to pull off another Halloween. Someday I hope I can throw dinner parties like you. :)
