Nine Years

Nine years with these girls...a lifetime for them (hehehe!) Funny how time flies when you're their mom. I love my two girls. I love that they share a DNA but not a personality.  I love that they still love to hang out with each other and are the other's best friend - seriously, if I didn't demand that they take separate showers, they would be in there together, giggling and splashing!  I love how they can come home from school, tell me the same story two different ways and I can laugh at both. I love having girls!

I also love their diverse palates.  Lasagna and Cesar salad were the requested dinner for this year.  They differed in their "cake" ideas though, so we had banana cream pie and key lime pie.  I made one, bought one.  Both were devoured!
It was a "non-friend party" year, but we still tried to make it special.  With crepes for breakfast, a cascade of balloons to wake them, and a banner made by their little brother, I think they had a fun day. With their birthday being fast on the heals of Christmas, sometimes their gifts are a little bit of a carry over.  This year, they only asked for one thing...an Ipod.  They got it, and we listened to them shout at each other with their earbuds in tell each other which song they were listening to and then entertaining us with little snippets of said song.  They crack me up!

Happy Birthday my sweet girls!

I love it! I am so sad to have missed another birthday. They are growing way too fast. I remember sitting all three of our babies on Grandma Storer's couch and they all just sat there and smiled. Now I'm not sure that they would all fit! Happy Birthday Meggie-Haley. And yes, two separate names and personality, but one in spirit. Love you girls!

Hey! Wanted to tell you. There is an adorable family that just moved into your ward named the Fisk family. They have a little girl in the same primary class with your girls. Paityn. Anyway. She is new and always looking for someone to play with. Lives right by the waterfall. anyway. Just thought I would tell you! Paityn told me that she thought your girls were really pretty.
