The day after...otherwise known as The 4th of July

Last year I spent the 4th in California alone.  Well, not really alone, but the Jeff and the kiddos were in AZ and I was not...thus, alone.  While they swam, went to the movies, ate Gelato, and watched fireworks at Schnepf Farms, I sat by the pool with my dad, ate turkey burgers, and watched fireworks in New York on the t.v.  Ah, the joys of a heart attack!  This year though, it was a major production.  This year, we made t-shirts for everyone, we ALL went to California, we ALL swam in the pool, ate hamburgers, and we ALL watched fireworks out of the back of the car along the freeway on I-5.  Okay, maybe somethings were better last year, but at least this year, we were ALL together.  Nothing beats that!
Sarah and Co. came down that morning and my children set up a watch...anxiously waiting for her arrival.  You'd think she was a celebrity!

Getting EVERYONE in this group to smile was a challenge, thankfully Sam is always a good sport!

Wow! Look at all your new posts! :) My favorite was Paige and YW camp. What a terrific experience! And I was sorry to read about your Grandma passing. How did I not know that?! You have a beautiful family and I know Grandma is smiling down on you all. Hugs.
