A momentous day for us here at the Gray household - Two big events occurred within minutes of each other.
First, Paige lost her fifth tooth while brushing her teeth last night. The Tooth Fairy came and left her money and the purple water indicates that she must have been wearing a purple dress last night. See after a tooth falls out, we put the tooth in a clear glass of water. Later that night the tooth fairy comes, takes the tooth, leaves some money and then colors the water the color of the dress she was wearing that evening - and you thought she only wore white!
True to form I was unable to get a picture of the toothless girl that received this little note and glass of purple water.
Second, my baby boy has grown up a little bit more today. While climbing out of his crib, which he only does in the morning, the very used crib broke and finally gave in to all the wear and tear. Nathan came crying into my room at 7:30 a.m. telling me that he had broken his bed. After a sad farewell to our beloved crib - with many many memories - we put a new bed in and Nathan was thrilled! (Even though the day before when we asked him if he wanted a new bed his reply was "no mom, I have my crib". ) I wasn't quite prepared so all I had was sheets for the bed but Nathan, being a true boy didn't care. He loved the idea of sleeping in a "big boy bed". He didn't get out at all last night and it is now 7:50 a.m. and he is still asleep in his "big boy bed". I guess it paid off waiting so long to move him. Now I will cry a little tear as my last baby is getting bigger and the last remnant of "babyness" has left my home.

I was supposed to get that crib!! AAHHH MAN!! I guess I should have got on the baby train before you had 4 kids! Love the tooth fairy idea though, totally using that. Oh and add me to your Skype, I am working, but I can talk to you on skype at work! love you
What a big boy he is. I love the tooth fairy water what a cute idea
Too funny about the bed...I guess Nathan was ready! :) I'll have to try that tactic when Scott gets too big for his crib - probably when he's 8. And the baseboards look great - Dad IS the best.
I'm glad Nathan didn't get hurt, and I'm glad he loves his new bed. Emma was the same way. I got the clothes from Mom. Thanks a million trillion. Who needs Christmas when I have you? :)
That is a great idea for the tooth fairy, what a lucky girl. All the big kids in your house, I wonder how that would be? Congrats!!!
HA! A broken bed isn't so bad, if you are done using it!!! Are you?? You were so wonderful the other night. I apprecaite you so much! Thanks for the fun. More than fun actually. It was a blast!
Wow! No more cribs. He looks like he loves his new bed! What a big boy!
