Nathan has caught the bug. Jeff had a race up in Show Low, an Olympic distance triathlon, and in preparation for this race he started to include Nathan. There was a similar (but no swimming) race for kids ages 5-12 later the same day. Nate signed up. He trained, a little, mostly sitting on the wind trainer and watching t.v. while his little legs whirred around. But he was excited. It was a great race. He got bumped into the category with the 12 year old kids. Got his number and age written on his arm and leg and then ran for .5 mile run, biked for 2.75 miles, and ran again for .35 miles. He was awesome, excited, and had a great time doing it. Maybe he is my next Iron man...we'll see.
