Jeff and the kids treated me to Red Robin for dinner. I splurged and ate all the french fries my tummy could hold...I think I'm good for the month. Then, Conference weekend, another favorite time of year. We had sickness in our home this year, which made watching Conference a little more cozy...we all stayed in pajamas and hunkered down and took in all the wisdom our familyroom would hold. It was also the school's fall festival, Jeff and the kids went. I was home sick. Haley and Nathan were sick too, but there was no way they were going to miss it! All of these fun things happened without the camera (not unusual around here.)
We got everyone healthy again just in time for Fall Break. I loaded up the car and headed to California and three days of Disneyland. It was hot, it was crowded, it was fun. Sarah and Luke joined us for all three days, mom joined in on the last day. Did I mention it was hot? You can tell by some of our sweaty faces and the fact that it felt good to run through the fountains in Bugs Land.
We also managed to make it to the beach and take in some of the wildlife there.
And, we got started early with the pumpkins and helped Sarah scoop out her 4 so that she could carve them and decorate her house for her Halloween party.
Finally, it was time for Halloween and the festivities and food that come with it.
The ward Trunk or Treat, our family party and the actual Halloween night.
Thanks to mom, we had a heavenly Angel, a precious Alice, and a scallywag of a pirate. Nate decided to be the yellow transformer, again changing his mind a bazillion times just before the actual night.
It was fun filled month. We are now all cleaned up and re-decorated for Thanksgiving. November is already promising to be just as busy and just as fun!

Nice treats, Pinterest Freak!
I now know why we didn't do lunch in October, you were too busy cooking
We always love it when you come cause you bring the PARTY! Looks like you had some yummy food to munch on and some awesome costumes! Just keep them in good condition so my kids can wear them and look as cute as your kids :)
Hey Muche-
Just so you know, we've been doing those treats long before Pinterest came along. The only pinterest thing is my new door sign. Although, I will admit, Pinterest will be much more present next year!
Love all the posts!
I thought all you guys did was sit around inside all day...now I know better. :)
We're excited for Jeff's big weekend...fingers crossed.
