3 of 3 and almost caught up!

May was baseball month around here!  Nathan played several back to back games and as I mentioned before, we LIVED at the fields!  Much to our surprise and excitement though, his team won the Queen Creek Little League Championship!  Nathan couldn't be happier and his daddy couldn't be prouder.  Wendy even came out and cheered on our little team.  I think she was a little surprised how rowdy the fans (ie. parents) could get.  She quickly caught on and cheered her heart out as we took the championship!  Way to go Nate!!!!  Of course, none of this would have been possible without his awesome coaches.  They were fantastic and really helped Nathan grow, not just in baseball.  My hat goes off to these men.

And just when we thought the season was over, we found out that now Nate's team is in the Tournament of Champions Games - Division Title Games...AHHHHHH!!!!  On to games in 105 degree heat!!!

Also in May is the annual FATHER AND SONS campout.  A night of eating, tourturing small animals, little sleep and male bonding.  Jeff and Nathan look forward to it every year.  I look forward to a girls night out too.   I don't look forward to the laundry two men can bring back after one night of camping though, WHAT THE HECK!?
Thanks to some high ranking friends in the ward, the boys have a pretty sweet camping spot.  It comes complete with pottys, an indoor basketball court, and leveled out sleeping fields!

And finally, Nathan earned his Wolf badge thingy in scouts.  He worked diligently to do this, (so did his scout leaders!) and was excited to drink the "wolf's blood" as part of the "ritual" in passing on from Bears.  After drinking, the boys are asked how they feel and most of them usually give their wolf howl, Nathan just burped...yep that's my kiddo!

The pictures are a little blurry, all we had was Haley the photographer and Jeff's phone!  We are not nearly as prepared as scouts obviously!

I guess I could have appropriately named this post "All About Nathan".
