Our sweet first baby girl attended her FIRST girls' camp. She was super eager and anxious to go. I was just super anxious! She was all smiles, I held back the tears until the bus pulled out of the parking lot. She had a great three days getting dirty, staying up late, making crafts, making friends, and enjoying life on her own. I missed her laughter, helpfulness, and smiling face while I was constantly checking my phone to see if one of the leaders had called to say she needed her mom. No such luck!
She had a great time, loved every minute of it, and told me she missed me when she got home. I may let her go again next year. We'll see.
