Gram

I'm going to miss this sweet lady.  She always had the right thing to say, always knew how to calm a fussy baby, always had a hug and smile ready and waiting, was always the first in the car for a new adventure.  She was the perfect example of service and compassion.  She is my Grandma and I love her.  Till we meet again Gram.  I love you!

 Although we will miss her, it was great fun to have ALL our family together to celebrate her.  We ate, stayed up late reminiscing, ate some more, cried and cried some more, shopped and played.  It was a great way to honor our grandma.

 

 This is almost ALL of Gram's GREAT grandchildren (from my mom)...only 3 are missing from this picture! Gotta love nap time!  There are 9 more from my aunt and uncle!  A grand total of 39 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN!!!!!!!!!

 All the great-grandchildren let off a balloon with a memory of grandma on it.  

 And then we all took part in planting a tree - one that she wanted planted just before she passed.  We all stepped and patted it in.

 We love our Grandpa!!!
